5 Offers in May!
Gooood day, Pretty Human ☀️
I hope you’re doing well and enjoying summer (I know I am living in Wisconsin!)
With so much uncertainty and negativity in the world right now, I wanted to share some positive news.
In the month of May, we welcomed five new hires to our organization.
Three of those five had been unemployed for six months or longer.
One of them was hired after applying with us for a second time and finally getting their “yes.”
I share this because I know how many job seekers are struggling right now and questioning their worth.
As a recruiter with more than eight years of experience, this is the toughest job market I’ve ever seen.
But being unemployed does not mean you’re unemployable.
There are employers who care about your experience, your skills, your results, and the person behind the resume, not just the gap between jobs.
There are recruiters advocating for candidates every day (like me 🙋🏼♀️).
There are still opportunities being filled.
And there are still people getting hired after months of searching.
If you’re in the middle of a long job search, please be kind to yourself.
Your current situation is not a reflection of your value.
Keep showing up.
Keep applying.
Keep networking.
Keep believing that your “yes” is still out there. 🫶🏻
